Up In Air Digital Drawing

Went on Illustration Friday art blog today, and saw that this week's topic is airborne. I quickly came up with this cute idea of a girl being taken up in the air by a bunch of balloons lol..  What I did was sketched it up on paper, and from there, I took a photo with my digital camera. After that, I uploaded it to my computer and worked on it on photoshop. :)

Dj Sona Update

So I thought I'd give you guys and update on my Dj Sona digital  painting. Still not quite finished  but its definitely  getting  and im liking how its turning out so far!

 

I' am using Sketchbook pro 6 version here. Love this software I have a lot of fun with it, and I use it quite a lot!

League Of Legends Dj Sona Skin

League Of Legends recently came out with a new skin for  they're support champ Sona called Dj Sona. This Skin is very cool looking, comes with a playlist of three songs and also, she changes themes for each song. Theres a blue theme (which I chose to work on), a red theme, and a purple/blueish theme lol. I thought it would be cool to draw her up, so that's exaclty what I did! it's not a finished just yet, thought i'd share my prgress. I'm working on finishing it digitally right now.  I have the base colors down so far, and some detailing. This is where im at so far and when I'm finally finished I will of course post up right here on my blog. Please feel free to comment below, Do you like the digital version so far? Do you Play league Of Legends??  I may play a little too much these days haha. Any questions, or requests ? I'll be happy to answer.

Some New Stuff In My Shop!

My Society6 shop is coming along! I uploaded a lot of my work, and I' am absolutely in LOVE<3 with the service they provide in turning prints into phone cases, pillows,T-shirts and the list goes on! Love seeing how it looks and to think someone may like it enough to buy it as a mug to drink they're coffee in, or order a piece as a decorative pillow for décor in they're home. It's really awesome to think about, I just love it!

A Fun Way To Get Out Of Reality

If I don't know what to draw, but want to still draw something and be creative,or maybe just want to relieve stress.. what helps me is drawing a bunch of line and designs, it's very therapeutic. It's called Zentangle, you can make your own patterns and designs. Not only is it therapeutic its also a lot of fun...! Especially when your finished and see how the finished piece looks... In this case I was happy.. Very happy with it that I posted it up on my two shops Society6 and Nuvango... looks really nice in other products that these sites offer...I wouldn't mind being one of my own customers purchasing my work lol. These two sites are really great, and there's a lot of beautiful work by many other artist's, that I usually like to get on and go through the feeds of artwork and like away all the ones that I find to be amazing! Connected

Thought I'd go somewhat with a theme for Valentine's Day here with this new print.. Not a Huge fan of Valentine's day and don't really dislike it...( too much lol )I think I'm pretty neutral when its comes to this day... Just another day for me. Today it's a snowy quiet day and am stuck in my home in Connecticut. Guess most people will be staying in for Valentines Day with a snow day like today. Sick of the recent weather by the way!  This year It's snowed way too much, really cannot wait for spring to come already and be able to enjoy it outside and see grass again and have flowers blooming! Yes, can't wait. 

 

Anyway back to the drawing I made! Decided I'd call it Connected, first I was going to title it Together but eventually thought it wasn't  the best and maybe a little too in the box for the title. It's of two figures male, and a woman and they both have some kind of cool lined designs going on the inside.. Hope you guys like it!  I posted up on my Society6 shop, you can get it in a print, canvases and a lot more like t-shirts, hoodies, and also skins for you phones, iPad and I know I'm probably missing more lol go check it out. Clash Of Clans Fant Art

Clash Of Clans! I love me some Clash Of Clans! I've played this game for over a year now and I still enjoy it a lot...maybe a little too much... I've done Three different holiday themes as you can see below, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, I was considering doing a Valentine's theme one but that's still up in the air for now. Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think, and if you have suggestions too it would be great to hear them!

 

 

 

The Girl In The Blue Dress Painting

The girl painting from my last post is dun dun done... It's a nice and simple piece, but yet it still has a little boldness to it with the colors that have been used.

 

I love the bold bright red for a backround, I think having that red makes her pop a little. The red paint I used is called Liquitex BASICS acrylic paint in a 4 oz. tube, The name of the color is naphthol crimson , its a very pretty bright red to paint with. The blue paint is also by Liquitex BASICS in primary blue. Those are the two colors that I think just stand out really nicely. The other paints I used were a mix of some other paints I mixed and blended to get the skin tone and the hair color and eyes. Lots of mixing and blending was involved here haha.

 

 

When I first started this I went into it not knowing what I wanted to paint. This started from a random sketch on a canvas to now a fully painted piece.
